LEGISLATIVE EVENT
You are cordially invited to the annual South Carolina Conference United Methodist Women’s Legislative Event (Capitol Day) on Thursday, March 18, 2010.The legislative event is being held at Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church, 1205 Old Cherokee Road, Lexington, S. C. Check in and refreshments will be served from 9:00 until 9:45 A.M. Lunch will be served from 12:50 until 1:50 p.m. This year’s theme is “ A Place at the Table.”
This annual event brings United Methodist Women members from across the state to the Columbia area to meet their legislators and hear advocates address our social action priorities.
The cost of this event is $15 and registrations are due by March 8, 2010. Please join Denise Jones at this event.

WOMEN TO WOMEN RETREAT
Ladies join us for the Women to Women Retreat at Springmaid Beach . The theme of this session will be “The Deliberate Faith” (Hebrews 11:1). The speaker will be Kerri Kenyon who will encourage women to address the lies, fear and shame that invade their lives. Beth Greer will be leading the Morning Devotions.
We would like to have a good group of our ladies going. The cost of the retreat is $50 and we will be staying at Denise Jones’s beach house in Garden City. Please get in touch with Denise and sign up today!!
